Going Into the Weekend
My dad, step-mom and I all had a great time over the past few days. We wandered and ate and (they) drank and it was great, especially the crazy experience at Momofuku. Every time I walk into that place I end up with a story to tell. My weekend is already booked completely solid as is all of next week and I just don't know how I'm going to get through it all. A couple of interesting things:
- Shirley had been suffering a lot of abdominal pain for a long time and discovered she had an alergy to gluten. If you eat a lot of bread and/or carbs and have digestive or stomach problems, you may have a gluten intolerance
- I got some Steelcase Pollack chairs off of craigslist for an awesome deal and their wooly fabric goes great with the new color scheme I have going in the house. Pictures are forthcoming
- Did I mention how busy I was? I am so pleased that my work and my wallet aren't being affected by this economy. I'm really, really grateful for that, I am, however, nervous about new developments at my apartment
So now, I'm offf to a client meeting, then to drinks, then to get some furniture, then to do more decorating of my apartment, then to pick up the rug, then to look at some art, then to have some dinner, then back to work on Monday.
